Sudio Vasa Blå In-Ear Wireless Headphones Unboxing + Review

I LOOOVE getting new gadgets. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to get my hands on some new technology (I’m broke AF). Anyway, I have been saving to get the iPhone 8 when it comes out this year. But now that Apple has removed the microphone jack, I felt that I needed a good pair of wireless earphones.

Sudio is a Swedish brand that specialises in creating high-quality earphones. My sister literally just bought their on-ear Regent headphones in black marble and I instantly fell in love. They have interchangeable design caps too so you can customise them to your liking which I thought was pretty cool.

But for me, I already own a 100-year old pair of Skullcandy on-ear headphones, so I opted for the in-ear ones just for some variety in my life (lol great way to justify it, right?). So anyway, I got the Vasa Blå in white & rose gold – because who doesn’t love rose gold?

Sound Quality

My favourite thing about these headphones is the sound quality. I usually buy on-ear headphones but I feel that with the Sudio in-ear earphones the sound is more isolated, making it more clear. I think because in-ear earphones probably reduce the background noise a bit more. I do enjoy a bit of bass too, and I like how these earphones get it just right and it’s also not too overbearing either. As I mentioned in the video below I was also eager to test out the sound quality when making and receiving calls and I can definitely say they managed to impress me with that. The quality of the mic is great and I had no issues when speaking to people over the phone so kudos to Sudio.???

I have super small ears, like seriously, they are hamster sized. I also have a tragus piercing, so in-ear earphones can be uncomfortable for me. The fact that these Sudio earphones come with four silicon ear tips is a massive thumbs up from me because they fit my tiny ears perfectly. But I’m sure this small add-on makes them more comfortable for a range of different people.

I usually wear my earphones for a few hours at a time when I’m working. The first time I used these at work, it did take me a while for me to get used to. I wouldn’t say that are as comfortable when using for a long period of time, especially not as comfortable as on-ear headphones. But I do like how you can just hang them around your neck when you want a little break.

For the design – I think they got it spot on. I think the Sudio brand is just so relevant for bloggers, I really love how they found a way to customise their Regent range (the marble designs are just gorgeous). Although the Vasa Blå range isn’t customisable I feel that white with the rose gold finish is enough and it works really well. The only problem for me is that I got the white ones (bad idea) I got makeup all over them on the first day of wearing them and they are quite difficult to clean.

But I do feel that the Sudio range is much more stylish than other wireless earphones available on the market which are mainly targeted at gym users. The functionality is pretty well thought out too. My only problem is it took me a while how to work out how to skip the song (I did end up having to google it). Along with the headphones, you also get a good quality leather carry case which buttons up at the top to keep your earphones safe. You also get a metal clip for you to secure the cable on to your clothes which I thought was pretty cool!

The battery life on these headphones is 8 hours of playback, which is fine I suppose. But if you are looking for longer battery life I would definitely go for their on-ear headphones (the ones my sister has) because they last up to 24 hours – which is obviously a massive difference.

In terms of the Bluetooth connection, the biggest issue for me was getting them connected in the first place. It was easy to connect to my iPhone, but with my MacBook, it was a bit more difficult. But after a few attempts, I eventually got them connected to all my devices. My other issue was that the Bluetooth connection isn’t particularly strong when you move your device around. The music can get a bit jerky and the connection will cut out – so it’s best to keep your device nearby.

Overall, I’m really happy with them. Now I just can’t wait to try them out with the new iPhone. Hurry up September!
