Social and Cocktail Glasgow Event
Last weekend I went to a great little event in the heart of Glasgow. I don’t usually keep up with events in and around Glasgow – I always end up missing all the good ones but I am glad I managed to attend this one. It was in The Riding Room in Merchant City hosted by Social & Cocktail who are experts in making flamboyant cocktails (they also offer cocktail making classes you should check them out!). My favourite cocktail of the night was definitely the Strawberry & Vanilla Daiquiri but they had some interesting choices – not your usual cosmo!
But the night wasn’t only filled with sweet tasting cocktails, The Riding Room offered a variety of different cabaret shows with Burlesque dancers Kim Khaos, Tom Harlow along with some wonderful jazz singers. It was right up my street. I actually forgot to tell my fiance that it was a cabaret bar so when I left him to go to the bar and Kim started her strip tease he must have been like ‘what the hell is going on’ haha oops! Anyway, I absolutely loved it – such a great night out! If you’re ever around the Glasgow area I definitely think this place is worth a visit it is such a little hidden gem I will definitely be going back there for some more cabaret & cocktails!
This looks like a fab night, I love a cabaret show. Strawberry & Vanilla Daiquiri’s are delicious too, one of my fave’s. Jo x

I absolutely love a good cabaret and if you can find a good show it makes such a fun night out, more so with cocktails x
I love going to Cabaret shows – my favourite place is Proud Cabaret in London. Those cocktails look amazing.
How amazing was that balloon outfit?? I did chuckle at your fiancé being left with the surprise striptease!

That looks like a great night out and the daiquiri looks amazing. I’m going to have to see if they have anything similar close to me as Glasgow is too far away x
