Style Guide: What to Wear on Valentine’s Day
As Valentine’s Day is next week I wanted to share with you what I’m planning on wearing. I’m seriously not ‘let’s go all out’ kinda person, and neither is my fiancé so we normally keep things super casual. I’d be happy with a bottle of wine and a good home cooked meal if i’m being honest! I feel like whenever we have tried to plan anything for Valentine’s Day in the past it always just ends up costing a fortune and nothing ever goes right. We have had our fair share of crappy Groupon deals ha!
For this outfit, I am in love with this wing sleeved jumper from River Island. The material is SOOOO soft, it feels like I’m literally wearing a blanket. The tie-up details on the sleeves give it an edgy touch. The skirt is a Topshop staple which I bought from the Mercari app for £13 (Shop my wardrobe of Mercari here). Then I paired it with my double buckle western belt you can shop a similar style here. To make it a little less casual I have my over the knee boots on from River Island to bring the whole look together and to add a few extra inches!
I also think pastel colours are so feminine and pretty so to bring a little bit of extra colour I have paired this outfit with my coat from Missguided which I got on Mercari again for £12. Seriously guys, you need to get on this app – it’s fab. Unlike depop, ebay and other buying/selling apps or websites, Mercari lets you sell your stuff without ANY fees at all! So far I’ve sold about £70 worth of clothes and makeup and I get to keep all of the profit which really does make a massive difference.

* Please note that items in this post were gifted by River Island but as always all of my opinions are my own.
I love this look – the jumper is so gorgeous! And the Mercari app sounds fab, I’m looking to sell some of my clothes soon so I’ll be using that!xx
