Blank Canvas Cosmetics Brush Review

Starting With The Basics | Blank Canvas Cosmetics Review

Have you heard of Blank Canvas? They are an online beauty brand from Ireland that I’ve recently discovered and I am so glad that I did. They sell luxury makeup at high street prices and they also have relatively cheap shipping which is always a bonus.

Let’s just stop and admire about how beautiful their rose gold brush set is (which is 100% vegan-friendly btw). I am in love with the design! It’s so pretty. I was actually shocked at the level of quality from this set. The brushes are so soft and they all do the job they’re supposed to. Every girl needs a brush set and this one has got literally everything you need.

I used to buy all my brushes individually. Mainly because I was addicted to MAC brushes but they never had a brush kit which is full-size with and all the brushes I wanted. But when I put it into perspective 3 MAC brushes is the equivalent to the price of this entire set and you get 12 brushes! What I like best is that this kit lets me complete a full makeup look, it has everything you need.

I’m not going to lie, I feel like I’m not even a “real” blogger for saying this. But I am god awful at eye makeup. I always opt for neutrals because they are easy to blend. So generally, I don’t spend a lot of money on eyeshadow because I always end up looking like I’m in drag anytime I go for a bold shade.

But don’t get me wrong – there’s a lot you can do with a neutral palette. Introducing ‘The Master Series Palette One’. I soo happy Blank Canvas sent me this to try out because I am loving it. The palette has the perfect balance of 11 matte shades ranging from a vanilla base colour to a dark brown shade with 1 shimmery champagne highlighter shade. The Master Palette also has a double ended brush with the E40 & E41 Tapered Crease Blender/Smudger. The fluffy dome side (E41) is great for blending whilst the flat shader end (E40) can be used dry or damp to apply your colour. Without the help of my saviour of YouTube, I managed to create a lovely eye look with this easy to use eye palette (check my insta to see the look).
