JORD wood watches are hosting this fab giveaway that I thought you should all know about. JORD are a wooden watch company that create one of a kind timepieces. I was gifted a lovely Dark Sandalwood watch to review for the giveaway and I was really impressed with the handcraftsmanship. Sure, it wasn’t like the Raymond weil watches we see in the display window outside a luxury department store but the JORD, was simple and built to last at an affordable price for all.

I thought, because it’s wooden, it would be rugged and uncomfortable to wear but it’s actually super smooth & lightweight. I’m generally questionable of everything, so my next thought was how would it last? Wood expands in water so does this mean when I sweat the watch will become tighter? No. It doesn’t. You can tell it has been well treated to avoid general wear and tear. It seems to be built to last.

I actually think this watch will age very well and in years to come, the worn look will give it a vintage chic feel. So it will look even better, it is definitely a classic piece that you can wear through the decades.
