Only Curls

The Best Way To Tame Frizz

This summer I’ve had so many issues with controlling my hair – the frizz is beyond me! I think the sun, sea and humidity have all taken their toll. I tried dying my hair dark to avoid bleaching it but the blonde is still seeping through so I am thinking about perhaps using henna to dye it dark. More about that later!

One way of helping me prevent my frizz is by using the Only Curls hair towel* it is made from 100% microfibre which makes it more absorbent than a regular towel.  I love how it is super soft too, it isn’t as rough as a regular cotton towel either which also helps to prevent frizz. My hair normally takes around 2 hours to air dry because it is so dense but I have definitely noticed faster drying times with this towel which has been a huge relief on the days I am running late for work. The only downfall is that it only comes in one size. I say this because my hair shrinks a lot when it’s dry, but when my hair is wet it’s halfway down my back and the Only Curls towel struggles to cover the whole length of my hair. I am sure a lot of other curlies have the same problem!

Overall, for the price (£15) I think it would be great if they could offer various sizes for all hair lengths. But , to be honest even though it doesn’t cover all my hair whilst wet, it leaves my ends to air dry naturally which is sometimes better. Also, with my discount you can buy the towel for only £12 so for this price I would say its definitely worth it!

I had no idea that there is a towel just to tame frizz. That’s awesome. It’s worth a try. Would love if you can link up to http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2016/10/16/summer-fall-fashion-bloggers-style/

This sounds pretty cool! My sister has extremely curly hair (don’t know what happened to my curly genes!) and she fights with frizz a lot so I’ll pass this on!

Looks like such a great towel, sometimes I suffer from frizzy hair too x

  • Elodie October 23, 2016 at 4:48 pm

I always use a similar towel even though I don’t have curly hair, and it does work a charm. If you don’t have one on hand, it’s great to use an old T-shirt too. Not quite as good at drying but it works well to tame frizz.

  • Anosa October 23, 2016 at 8:50 pm

I would agree too about having more sizes and the price for this towel is too steep I think.

  • Hannah October 23, 2016 at 8:58 pm

I had no idea a product like this existed. I don’t have curly hair but my sister does and at times, the frizz drives her crazy so I’ll definitely share it with her.

I need this towel in my life – my hair can be so frizzy at times! x

  • Claire October 24, 2016 at 2:56 pm

This sounds like a great product, but like you I’d need a bigger one for my fairly long hair. Will keep my eye out to see if they debut one!

I like the sound of this towel. It looks a bit like those hair turbans you can get.
