I love spring and to be honest I would love to buy a brand new spring wardrobe every season, but I wouldn’t be able to afford that. So a good way of getting spring ready for me is to pick up some accessories that I can wear with outfits to freshen the look up and make it feel like new.

Downsize your handbag

Having a smaller bag will make your life so much easier. Especially on those bright nights when the sun shines until 7 pm – a big bag just really gets in the way. I also like to switch between bags so I don’t feel a strain on one shoulder and wearing a small bag or backpack usually stops me from getting tense on one side. I always like to have fun accessorising my bags – bag chains or even a nice bandana or scarf to tie around the bag to add something extra.

A cute choker

One of my favourite things this year is chokers. They are so many to pick from and they can totally make a look complete. Just how gorgeous is the choker below from River Island with the embroidery detail. When I pick chokers I also like to create layers. So I may have a few chokers on and then a longer chain to layer it up. Just make sure the chains are dainty because if you start if you start adding thick, heavy chains it just wouldn’t look as good, especially in spring, it would just feel too heavy.

Statement Jewellery

Some of these pieces are just gorgeous. I am not a big fan of wearing bold jewellery normally, but I do like pieces that are unique, especially those you can find when you check out Haruni here! I love single jewel or multi-jewel statement pieces, and I also really like the fringing on the earrings below and the gold necklace with the bee’s and the pom pom style earrings are so quirky too – I love them! A pair of sunnies

Sunglasses are just a must have for spring. Even if you wear glasses normally, a pair of prescription sunnies can make a big difference. I wrote a post on my first prescription sunnies and what I thought – if you want to have a read.

Dress Your Tech

The most obvious accessory for me is, of course, my phone. I work in digital marketing and I run my own blog so I am literally never away from my phone. There are so many nice cases to pick from. The one I have on my phone right now is by EGOSketch and Ipersonalised it with a lovely pastel marble print. I was thinking of making it branded with my blog logo but I thought that may be taking it a little too far haha. But I do enjoy being able to create my own design with prices starting from £9.99 too, such a good deal.
